Forensic Biotechnology program
CSU's Bachelor of Science (Forensic Biotechnology) has been designed for graduates of Ontario College Diplomas in Biotechnology Technician (Health), Biotechnology Technician or equivalent to upgrade their qualifications in order to maximise their career potential in the exciting area of forensic biotechnology
The program has been developed in conjunction with industry bodies to address the rapid technological changes and growth in the biotechnology and forensic industries worldwide. The program provides graduates with skills and knowledge relevant to these fields now and into the future.
Information on how to apply
Graduates of Ontario College Diplomas in Biotechnology Technician (Health), Biotechnology Technician or equivalent need to apply to the full program, for enrolment in 2011 by clicking the button on the right: "Apply Online" and following the links.
Students required to complete the bridging program prior to starting the full program will automatically be enrolled into these courses when they apply to the full program. The cost for these two courses is AUD$1,400 per course.
The bridging program consists of two single courses in forensics and physiological sciences.
Please note: Applications for the 2010 bridging program for entry into the full program commencing in 2011 have closed. The next bridging program will run in August 2011 for entry into the full program commencing in 2012..
This program is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 17 June 2010 to 17 June 2015. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g. acceptable to potential employers , professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
